Veteran's Disability Services
By myself, I would not have survived this; had it not been for Sherman, Federman, Sambur, & McIntyre, my case would have lay dorment, never seeing the day justice presented itself. We started with absolutely nothing, only my story--to the result of winning a V.A. claim. I would recommend any of the SFSM attorneys to anyone. They were courteous, presentable, amiable, and beyond all, relentless in their fight for my rights as a United States veteran. -Christopher Mason
Veterans disability compensation benefits are payable on a monthly basis to veterans who are able to prove that a current injury or illness is service connected-meaning that it was incurred or aggravated during active military service and that their service was terminated through separation or discharge under conditions that were other than dishonorable.
Our firm is able to help veterans take advantage of many favorable aspects of the law, such as the fact that one who served in Vietnam between January 9, 1962 and May 7, 1975 is presumed to have been exposed to Agent Orange and thus covered for many illnesses including various cancers, Parkinson's disease and diabetes type 2.
There are also special laws covering Gulf War veterans suffering from chronic disabilities.
